托马斯·C. 科勒 is the Concurrent Professor of Law 和 Philosophy. He is an internationally recognized authority on the labor 和 employment laws of the United States 和 other western nations, with an emphasis on German law. He has served as a Fulbright Professor on the law faculty of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität (Frankfurt am Main), 和 has taught at the University of Texas School of Law 和 Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
科勒’s articles include “Comparative Law in a Time of 全球ization: Some Reflections” (52 Duquesne Law Review), “Konrad Adenauer’s Christian Vision” (第一件事)，以及“Neutralität des Arbeitgebers im US-amerikanischem Arbeitsrecht?” (Arbeit und Recht). He is the author of a book entitled, Solidarity Forever: the Story 和 Significance of an Idea (Yale University Press).

He is the second American who has been invited to present at both the annual Hugo Sinzheimer Memorial Lecture (University of Frankfurt faculty of law) 和 the Japan International 劳动法 Foundation Distinguished Lectures (University of Tokyo faculty of law). He has twice been invited to address the biennial meeting of the Deutscher Juristentag (the Association of German Jurists). 科勒 has also participated in the lecture series Göttingen Lectures in Foreign 和 International 劳动法 (Law 教师 of the University of Göttingen) at the law faculty of the University of Jena 和 Hugo Sinzheimer Institut in Frankfurt.
Among other honors, 科勒 has been a German Marshall Fund Fellow 和 a Lynde 和 Harry Bradley Foundation 电子游戏正规平台 Fellow. He has served as a member of the advisory board for the E.U.-sponsored European Labour Law Network, consultant to the industrial relations section of the Department of Sociology of the University of Warsaw, member of the International Board for the National College of Irel和, 和 scientific expert to the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences at the Vatican.
